their emotions better. The participants reported feeling less anxious and more
in control of their emotions after practicing mindfulness for eight weeks. As a
psychiatrist in Bhopal, I have also seen the positive impact of mindfulness on

3) Promotes Physical Health
Stress can have a significant impact on our physical health,
leading to issues such as high blood pressure, heart disease, and
gastrointestinal problems. By reducing stress levels, mindfulness can also
improve our physical health. Studies have shown that mindfulness meditation can
lower blood pressure, reduce chronic pain, and improve sleep quality.
