We got married around the 22nd May 2021 at The Gleddoch House Hotel in Langbank, Renfrewshire. We met 10 years ago when I worked inside a nightclub using the jackets, we'd a couple of mutual friends so knew of each other and finally ended a weight date. Sean chose to propose after many years together, we'd met so young that people spent those seven years likely to every festival and each holiday we're able to afford, but after many years we thought now was the best time. We were in a villa in Alicante with all of our friends for any week, I had no idea he was likely to propose as I had packed his case to visit, works out he had hidden the ring within the only item he'd packed himself: a set of shoes. No one around the holiday knew, then when he proposed everybody was as shocked as I was, but I was delighted. To say it had been the best holiday ever could be an understatement.
The wedding ceremony planning initially is fun, Sean liked to become involved to some degree, but my mum and my bridesmaids solved the problem a lot, however, our first date for the wedding was canceled due to the pandemic. This obviously put a spanner within the works to most things we'd planned, to visit ahead on our new date I had to cancel a great deal of the things we'd booked initially
My parents were buying my dress, so I kept my mum involved with all of the dresses I had been taking a look at and admiring ... but my actual wedding gown was nothing beats what I had been in mind. We had a few wedding dress shops booked, and I realize it sounds cliché, but I fell deeply in love with the FeelTimes dress I tried on and stopped looking at. I knew it had been the one for me personally, my mum was crying, so were my sisters and I just knew which was what I was likely to wear on my small wedding day. Go
I find the beautiful FeelTimes gown, it had been a beautiful trumpet design with a detachable train to consider off during the night which just suited me perfectly because I love to dance. It was totally different from anything I had been taking a look at as it had been a form-fitting dress, and I was taking a look at more a line wedding dresses styles. As soon as I use it, I felt so comfortable and glamorous, I felt it had been a gown you'd see more than the awards show, instead of your typical lace/princess dress. I knew that it had been perfect for me personally.
Our day couldn't have been better. Despite Covid restrictions, we Had the best day of our lives, the elements had been precarious the week before, but to the delight of our day, we got married the sun's rays shined the entire day. This meant we were able to be married outside, and our guests did not have to wear wonderful masks.
My favorite part of your day was the speeches. My dad said some beautiful reasons for myself and my hubby, welcoming him into us. It is touching, and I'll always remember it. My husband has been so nervous about his speech, but he was amazing and spoke in the heart as well as had the very best man in tears! The best man's speech was great too, my favorite part was when he brought his prop out, which would be a board filled with embarrassing pictures of my hubby. Needless to say, I brought this the place to find pull out once in a while to embarrass him more.
My top tip for future brides could be to put on dresses you don't think you'd like. Even if it is simply to reaffirm it is not for you. You might be surprised. And your wedding isn't "just a day" like everyone says, take full advantage of the build-up since it is all area of the fun.
Our photographer was amazing and knew my hubby from school, she had seen on Instagram we'd got engaged and messaged him to remind him that they did wedding photography Our wedding photographer was Corrine Moffat Photography.
