We have just beyond the one-year anniversary of Elden Ring Items a while ago, the GOTY winner which has moved 20 million copies already, a FromSoft record with a mile. We also recently got a DLC announcement, and in front of that, FromSoft has decided to release the official infographic with data from the last year about some interesting stats hanging around. A few of my personal favorite points of information here:
Most-Fought Bosses – I suppose this may mean hardest bosses, weight loss attempts mean more deaths, but I think there's also some here according to accessibility too:
Malenia, Blade of Miquella – 329 million
Margit the Fell Omen – 281 million
Limgrave Tree Sentinel – 277 million
Radagon from the Golden Order – 148 million
Starscourge Radahn – 139 million
Cannot state that I’m shocked that Malenia is on the top, given her difficulty, but yeah adhere to what they imagine why the Limgrave Tree Sentinel is really high because it’s the very first “boss” you encounter when you begin the game, with no doubt many early players tried, and failed, to consider them on before coming back to stomp them later once they’ve leveled up.
Here would be the top 5 spells cast hanging around:
Rock Sling
Crystal Torrent
Flintstone Pebble
Great blade Phalanx
Rotten Breath
And the 5 best Incantations:
Blessing from the Erdtree
Bestial Sling
Golden Vow
The Flame of Frenzy
Bestial Vitality
I’m much less surprised about either list there, as well as in my own playthrough, Rock Sling carried me with the second half of the game after Glintstone Pebble carried me through the very first half. I actually didn’t like Greatblade Phalanx around some others, I guess. It is not shocking that Blessing from the Erdtree, the healing spell, is the very best Incantation, given how frequently you want uh, health in elden ring items. Bestial Vitality is yet another healing skill too.
We have no data concerning the most used weapons or talismans or anything like this in the infographics here. There are other data about reasons for death and summons and the like, but I discover the above lists are probably the most interesting. Does anything surprise you there? I’d like to see more of these from FromSoft with further data in the game afterward.
